My mum is Australian and we go back as often as we can. Using my sisters toy animals I built an aussie outback scene.
Today while mummy was on a call to her family back home and while daddy was still in bed, I made them both a breakfast sandwich.
And this time I did everything myself and didn’t get any help. Even to put the stove on.
We went on a kids walk against racism today. From one local park to another. My plan was to set up a stall and sell loom band rings, chokers and bracelets to raise money for the NHS. So that’s what we did.
I saw on you tube kids this type of coffee do I tried it for my mum. I used ice and coffee and sugar and almond milk and whizzed it all up to make it frothy with the stick blender. Mum loved it especially as it was a warm day.
We did some gardening and pruned some lovely flowers and things.
My sister and I sat down and snipped and arranged these to make lovely bouquets.
Finally the strawberries we planted in March have started giving us fruit. They taste sweet and delicious!
My family and I joined a local peaceful protest in Tottenham to stand with others to recognise the treatment of Black people in society needs to be better.
I still love doing science experiments.
We went to the park with my two young aunties. Then we came back and mum made us some pasta.
